I have this same monitor and wanted to replace the stand with a VESA mount, and realized that the stand was NOT easily removed. I was contemplating if I wanted to even attempt the job, but thought I'd hit UA-cam first, just in case. I actually see why this FS91 does not rev so high. It's a 4 cycle engine with pre-mix, not a true 2 cycle engine like my FS80. I see Stihl makes an FS84 two cycle engine as well so I do like the higher revving engine of a 2 cycle though. I also saw you can only run the FS91R on two speed settings? No infinite throttle control?

My Stihl FS80 just died after about 15-20 years of hard usage. Great trimmer. This FS-91 is one I am looking at too now. It sounded like this did not rev up as high as my old FS80. is that something with the newer trimmer where they are tuned not to rev as high?

Electronic PTO throws belts because it slams pulley into the belt rather than smooth motion with a manual level. Manufacturers love it because they sell more belts. Why they haven't been sued I don't know. Belts would last forever on old machines with manual mechanical PTO engagement. It's a crime, for real.

If you clean the robot dust bin really well with soap and water with the filters removed, allow it to dry, then use a small amount of armor-all inside the dust bin with a lint free cloth, it really helps prevent the build-up and enables better emptying.

There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.

Add Stabil to your gas can and use this mix all season. It will remove any varnish in the fuel system including the filter and gas tank.

Don't follow this method if you don't want your paint to peel off the wood later. I have experimented with both sanded and unsanded varnished wood trim, using the best "stick everywhere" primer in the market. Nope, the primer will just peel off and you can easily scratch away with fingernails after the paint cured
